| Freedan |
 |
Freedan is the Knight of Darkness. He fought in a war whose ultimate weapon was a comet. This was the Chaos
Comet. Because of the efforts of Freedan and Shadow, the Chaos Comet now returns once every 800 years.
Freedan exists on the astral plane with Gaia, the source of all life. When Will needs his help in battle,
Freedan can fight for him. His long sword and dark powers make Freedan a force to be reckoned with. He
admires young Will's fine spirit, and knows that Will may one day be a great warrior himself.

| Hamlet |
 |
Hamlet is an intelligent pig, and Kara's best friend and confidant. Kara says he has some kind of "strange
pig power," but we never see what that is. Hamlet traveled with Kara everywhere. When she ran away from her
home in Edward Castle and her selfish father, King Edward, Hamlet followed her. After she returned home, her
friend Will was imprisoned in Edward Castle unfairly. Hamlet helped Will get out of the Castle with Kara,
indirectly starting Will's quest. Hamlet stayed behind. He'd meet Will and Kara again in Euro, the crowded
merchant town. Lance and Lilly found him in Watermia, and mailed him to them. Hamlet stayed with the group
until they went to the Natives' Village. The starving natives needed food, and Hamlet leapt into a fire,
sacrificing his life to sustain them. After his death, Shira appeared to Will, telling him Hamlet made a
noble choice. |
| Jack & Silvana |
 |
 |
Jack and Silvana are two vampires who lived in the Seaside Palace adjacent to Mu. Jack likes Silvana, and
Silvana hates Jack. The two of them had enslaved people from Freejia in their palace. During his quest, Will
freed them all using the Purification Stone. The vampires knew that Will had two Mystic Statues, and they
wanted them. Will found the vampires in Mu. Desperately wanting the staute, they kidnapped Will's friend
Erik and attacked Will. Freedan beat both vampires and rescued Erik. Jack reappeared to help Will in the
Tower of Babel near the end of Will's quest. No one really knows why Jack decided to help them out, but he
did. |
| Jackal |
 |
The Jackal is an assassin whom King Edward hired. The Jackal was infamous for his cold, calculating demeanor
and ruthless efficiency. King Edward knew about the comet heading for Earth. He also
knew about the technology Will uses to change to Freedan and Shadow. He didn't know it was Will, though. The
king sent Jackal to stalk Will and Kara. The Jackal followed Kara for the majority of the game. They never
saw him until Will and Kara reached the Pyramids. There, Jackal revealed his plans and tried to kidnap Kara.
Will played his flute, setting off an ancient booby trap that deep-fried the Jackal. I like the Jackal
myself. I think he's interesting and underrated. Problem is, we never see much of him. He dies as soon as he
reveals himself. Go Will! Go Will! |
| Neil |
 |
Neil is Will's cousin. He's always been an inventor. He has four famous inventions. One is a limited oxygen
tank. Another is a limited camera. Yet another one is a telescope. The last one is an airplane. Will meets
Neil in his house, needing help to complete his quest. Neil, who also knows a thing or two about history and
geography, helped Will out. Neil stayed with Will for about half his journey, from when Will was 25% into
his quest to when he was about 75% done. His airplane and worldly knowledge helped Will out immensely. Neil
left the group when he inherited Rolek, a large trading company. He still helped Will out for the rest of
Will's quest, though. |
| Shadow |
 |
Shadow is the Knight of Light. He fought in a war whose ultimate weapon was a comet. This was the Chaos
Comet. In fact, Shadow is made from the Chaos Comet itself. Because of the efforts of Freedan and Shadow,
the Chaos Comet now returns once every 800 years.
Shadow exists on the astral plane with Gaia, the source of all life. When Will needs his help in battle,
Shadow can fight for him. He doesn't join Will until Will nears the end of his journey, but he's still very
valuable. He has the ability to become "like water" with the Aura Ball. When Will reaches the Tower of
Babel, Shadow amalgamates with Will, Kara, and some of their friends to kill Dark Gaia, which ends Will's
journey.
